NOTICE BY THE LIVINGSTON CITY COUNCIL OF ITS INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE An Ordinance adding Chapter 9-13 (Water Conservation Requirements) to the Livingston Municipal Code, establishing a comprehensive water conservation framework, including permanent, year-round water conservation requirements and six standard water supply shortage levels with progressively more stringent mandatory restrictions, consistent with the City’s Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan, and providing for variances, enforcement, and penalties. 2. An Ordinance amending Sections 9-5-45, 9-5-71, and 9-5-72, of Chapter 9-5 (Water Service Regulations), conforming the City’s existing water use curtailment, water waste, and water restriction provisions to new Chapter 9-13. 3. An Ordinance amending Section 9-12-7 of Chapter 9-12 (Urban Stormwater Quality Management), conforming the irrigation leak-correction period to the standard used in Chapter 9-13 and the Water Shortage Contingency Plan.
