PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE BY THE CITY OF LIVINGSTON CITY COUNCIL OF ITS ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon after the City Council of the City of Livingston adopted the following Ordinance, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVINGSTON APPROVING RZN 2022-01 TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LIVINGSTON TO REZONE 4.58-ACRE OF THE FIVE PARCELS LOCATED BETWEEN SIXTH STREET AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACKS AND SOUTH OF C STREET, EAST OF SIXTH STREET FROM M-1 (LIMITED INDUSTRIAL) TO P-F (PUBLIC OR QUASI PUBLIC FACILITIES) CONSISTING OF ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBERS 024-153-003, 024-153-004, 024-153-011, 024-154-004 AND 024-154-005.
The proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Livingston to amend a 4.58-acre project site at APNs: 024-153-003, 024-153-011, 024-154-005, 024-153-004, and 024-154-004 from M-1 Limited Industrial Zoning District to P-F Public or Quasi-Public Facilities
On August 11, 2026, the Livingston Planning Commission recommended to the City Council approval of GPA and RZN 2022-01. A Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) under the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act was previously prepared for this development and approved by the City Council on September 15, 2026.
On September 15, 2026, the Council conducted a public hearing to waive the first reading of the proposed ordinance and consider approving Rezone Application No. RZN 2022-01.
The proposed ordinance shall become effective on November 6, 2026.
The Ordinance was adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Moran and Council Members, Roth, Singh Uppal, Samra and Wallis NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None
