The City of Livingston was incorporated in 1922, and in 2022 the community came together to celebrate 100 years of Livingston with a year of centennial activities planned by staff, the Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission, and dozens of community volunteers.

The centennial celebration featured special events throughout the year, commemorative activities, and opportunities for residents of every age to take part in marking a century of Livingston history.

The celebration continues

Now past its 100th birthday, Livingston keeps its history alive through the Historical Museum, the Historical Walking Loop, and annual traditions like the Sweet Potato Festival and the Lighted Christmas Parade.
