2026/2027 Youth Basketball

We offer basketball starting at 3 years of age through 8th grade. Our program is not competitive; we focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball so that if they want to play for school teams or competitive ball, they will have the skills to do so.

From 3 years through kindergarten, kids are taught in a clinic format: how to dribble, what is the basket, who is the referee, all foundational instruction. Once they reach 1st grade we start playing games while the kids continue to learn and practice fundamentals at their age level.

Games are usually played on Saturdays (we use school facilities, so scheduled school events can affect game days). Teams have one indoor practice and one outdoor practice per week plus a game. The cost is $65 for the season with a $5 non-resident fee; kids get a jersey and medal. Practice begins the week after Thanksgiving and the season ends the first week of March.
