The City of Livingston brings you an event for families to celebrate the 2026 Sweet Potato Harvest: "Great American Sweet Potato Road Trip." This year's event will be held September 25, 26, and 27, 2026 at the Max Foster Sports Complex, 2600 Walnut Ave, Livingston. Entry is $2 per person and parking is $5, which benefits the Livingston Police Explorer Post 518.

There will be a Midway of Fun Carnival, live bands, entertainment, the MADCAP Car Show, Lucha Libre, a Kid Zone, Sweet Potato Pie Eating Contests, Dress Your Tater, art exhibits, a food court, the Mercantile Marketplace, and numerous activities geared toward sweet potatoes. Every food vendor will have a delicious sweet potato specialty item. The Beer Garden will be open Saturday and Sunday evenings starting at 4 PM.

Discount carnival tickets are now available at City Hall for $30 unlimited rides — a $5 savings!

Event hours: Friday 5 PM–10 PM, Saturday 4 PM–11 PM, Sunday 4 PM–10 PM.

Volunteers can register on RecDesk. See the parking instructions below for the traffic and parking plan.
